Sarah joined the NSBR team full-time in June 2016 to launch our facilities initiative after previously working as an education policy consultant to NSBR. As the Managing Director of Facilities, Sarah is responsible for securing debt financing and managing project development and construction of new charter schools for NSBR’s portfolio school operators.
Most recently, Sarah served as Governor Jindal’s Policy Director heralding a heavy background in education, economic development, finance and transportation policy. Sarah graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with honors and a BA in English Literature. Before moving to Louisiana, she taught first grade EL in Metro Nashville Public Schools with Teach For America. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Tulane University as a Burkenroad Leaders Scholar and a Morton A. Aldrich fellow.
Sarah and her husband have one child—a 9-year old pup named Hercules.
