What’s your favorite childhood memory?
This was such a fun question to answer and think about! If I had to pick I would choose between two things - the first being when my little brother was born and all of my birthday parties. My brother and I are nine years apart and he came exactly one week before my birthday! My mom loves celebrations and parties and for every birthday party I always had a petting zoo and horses to ride!
How did you get started at New Schools for Baton Rouge?
Miles was my neighbor at the time and I asked if he knew of any places that might be a good fit for me. He sent over NSBR’s website and the rest was history!
What’s your favorite book?
My favorite book is The Alchemist by Paul Coelho.
What gets you excited about working in education?
What gets me excited about working in education is that it gives me the opportunity and privilege of making an impact on society by shaping the next generation.
Favorite Mardi Gras Parade
My favorite Mardi Gras Parade is the Zulu parade! I always look forward to Mardi Gras morning to attend, no matter the weather.
Favorite King Cake in town
My favorite king cake would be from Randazzo’s in New Orleans.
