How does NSBR bring great schools to Baton Rouge?

We find schools with strong student success, with an emphasis on strong positive outcomes for students of color, students from economically-disadvantaged backgrounds, students with
disabilities, and English language learners.

If a school organization shows interest in opening a campus in Baton Rouge, NSBR will carefully evaluate it to make sure it can meet the needs of our community and provide Baton Rouge students with similar strong outcomes.

Once it is clear that the school organization has a strong pathway for success in our community, NSBR will partner with the organization to begin preparations for opening a campus in Baton Rouge.

Once a school is open and in full swing, NSBR diligently measures its progress to ensure the school is fulfilling its mission to our community. Once it is clear that the school is producing great outcomes for kids, we may build on the partnership to launch another campus so that more students have the opportunity to attend a great school.
