The Cristo Rey Baton Rouge Franciscan High School has officially opened its doors.

The school is the first of its kind in Louisiana.

Opened on the site of the former Redemptorist High School.

Cristo Rey offers an affordable option for a college prep education for low to moderate income families.

After the ribbon cutting the group headed inside where the Diocese of Baton Rouge, held a school blessing.
