NSBR Appoints Dr. Noemi Donoso as New Chief Executive Officer

New Schools for Baton Rouge appointed Dr. Noemi Donoso as its new Chief Executive Officer following a rigorous nationwide search. She will assume her duties on Sept. 3, 2024.    

Dr. Donoso brings more than 30 years of proven experience, achieving unprecedented outcomes for student success across the country. She is transitioning to this new role from Linked Learning Alliance, where she has served as Chief Strategy Officer. She has held senior leadership roles in various districts and charter organizations, including the Chief Education Officer for Chicago Public Schools, the Chief of Innovation and Reform for Denver Public Schools, and the Chief Academic Officer for Camino Nuevo Charter Academy. Dr. Donoso is a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow and earned a doctoral degree from the University of Southern California, a master's degree from Rutgers University, and a bachelor's degree from Mount St. Mary's College.
