NSBR Congratulates Dr. James Llorens on appointment as President of Cristo Rey Baton Rouge High School.

Baton Rouge, LA. (March 24, 2015) – New Schools for Baton Rouge (NSBR) congratulates Dr. James L. Llorens on his appointment as president of Cristo Rey Baton Rouge High School. The school, where students will participate in both a rigorous college preparatory education and a corporate work-study program, is working toward an anticipated Fall 2016 opening. Llorens previously served as the chair of the feasibility committee for the school.

The Cristo Rey network is made up of 28 schools serving 9,000 students in 26 cities. The network has a 96% graduation rate, a 100% college acceptance rate, and a 90% college enrollment rate.
